Sponsor an Animal

If you would like to sponsor an animal, please select a photo below for the one that you would like to help.  You will be re-directed to our donation page, and can type in the type of animal you are helping in the Instructions box (e.g., "Raccoon").

Your donation will go towards necessities for that animal, such as food, medicine, toys, shelter, medical care, and supplies. Any amount will be appreciated, and donations $10.00 and over will receive a tax receipt.

All animals below are currently staying at the Centre for several months due to various health care and rehabilitation reasons. Although we cannot provide progress updates, you can be sure they are all well cared for!

Thank you!

1. Raccoon:  One of many "late-baby" raccoons, who will be over-wintering at the Centre.

2. Barred Owl:  Barred Owl with a wing injury. He is presently receiving physio at the Centre.

3. Blanding's TurtleA baby turtle with a shell injury. These turtles hibernate in the winter, but in order for healing to occur,
he must not hibernate and will be wintering at the Centre.  **Blanding's Turtle species is threatened provincially and nationally.**

4. Groundhog:  Currently this groundhog has a skin problem. Normally they hibernate in the winter,
but since she now requires daily medication, will be wintering at the Centre.

5. Red-Tailed Hawk:  A juvenile hawk with a head injury. He is gaining weight and starting to
eat on his own, as can be seen in the full crop (throat area that holds food).
