What to do if you find an injured Bird or Waterfowl
Step-by-step instructions
1. Collect a container (like a recycling box), a towel,
and a bed sheet or blanket.
2. Take the towel.
3. Throw the towel over the bird.
4. The bird is under the blanket.
5. Take container and place it on its side next to the towel covered bird.
6. Use your foot to gently push the towel covered bird into container.
7. Take the sheet and cover the container opening with the
sheet.
8. Carefully flip container so opening is at the top
and sheet covers the top.
9. Secure with tape or string for
transportation.
